HOUSING
SUPPORT
The Life Link believes stable, permanent housing is essential for people to become integral members of a community. We are a community leader in advocacy for the improvement of supported housing and coordinated behavioral health services for the citizens of New Mexico.
The Life Link is Santa Fe’s largest provider of permanent housing for formerly homeless individuals and families.
MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
The Life Link offers individual and group therapy. As with all of our programs, The Life Link's mental health services are based in the most effective evidence-based practices available. Evidence-based practices are those that are based on a clear and well-articulated theory and have been demonstrated to be effective for particular problems and populations.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE SUPPORT
The Life Link offers an array of outpatient treatment services for alcohol and drug abuse and dependence. Our approach is one that considers the client where she/he is at in the recovery process whether that is just starting to consider the need for change, committed and working toward healthy change, or working to sustain changes that have already been made. Within an educational, supportive, and positive treatment environment, clients are given the opportunity to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
HUMAN TRAFFICKING AFTERCARE
The Life Link’s Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative, located in Santa Fe, is New Mexico’s only comprehensive aftercare program for victims of human trafficking. Through partnerships with State government, law enforcement, community stakeholders, healthcare providers, and other interested crisis response, intensive case management, advocacy, benefit acquisition, mental health and substance abuse services, emergency and permanent supportive housing, trauma treatment, and linkage to additional community resources to assist them.
