D’Lynn’s Yummy Apricot Nut Loaf
Ingredients: (Use organic ingredients for most delicious, healthiest results!)
1 cup sugar
1 lg. egg
2 tblspons soft butter.
4 teasp grated orange rind
3/4 cups orange juice
3/4 cup milk3 cups flour
1 teasp sea salt (fine)
31/2 teasp baking powder6 cups chopped nuts
3 cups chopped dried apricots
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
3. In separate bowl, cream together sugar, egg and butter. Stir in milk, orange juice and rind.
4. Add moist ingredients to flour mixture and mix well.
6. Sir in chopped apricots and nuts.
Add batter to greased 9” x 5” x 2½” loaf pan. Bake 50-70 minutes or until done. Let stand 20 minutes, remove from pan and serve.
